Great Britain's landscapes are full of myths and legends. Wales has its red dragon(s) and Britain has its legendary founder Brutus of Troy. But most famous of all are the tales of the Celtic King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. We will explore some of the legends, hear of the two giants Gog and Magog and of their importance for London and read extracts from tales such as the 14th-century poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight". So prepare to encounter some rather fantastic, larger-than-life figures including Merlin the wizard.
